Ingredients: maltodextrin, gelling agents (carrageenan and locust bean gum), strawberry flavor, acidifier (citric acid), sweetener (aspartame), colorant (cochineal from Dactylopius coccus).
The product contains a source of phenylalanine.
Carrageenans are soluble polysaccharides that are obtained from various seaweeds. They are a common part of the diet in many countries and thus serve as a fermentable dietary fiber with a prebiotic effect. They are also used in food technology where they mainly function as a gelling agent.
Carob is obtained from locust beans (carob). It is a soluble fiber, but it is practically insoluble in cold water. The fruits of the carob tree (pods) are used as feed, or they are used to make brandy. The seeds can be used as a substitute for flour or cocoa in some sweet dishes. It has wide application in food technology due to its ability to bind water, interact favorably with other polysaccharides and improve the sensory properties of dishes.
Preparation method: Bring 100/200 ml of water to the boil, pour into a bowl and gradually stir in 5/10 g of powder with a metal whisk. Do not use an electric mixer. Then place the bowl in the refrigerator and consume only after it has solidified.
Storage method: Store in the original container in a dry and cool place. Always close the container carefully after opening.
